Shipping windows, return policy, ingredient sourcing, burn time, wick care, and how to get the cleanest flame from your candle — all answered in one place.

Shipping

How long does shipping take?

Orders ship from Miami, FL within 1–3 business days via USPS and UPS. Standard delivery is 3–7 business days within the continental US; Florida orders usually arrive in 1–3 days. You will receive an email with tracking as soon as your order leaves the studio.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes — free standard shipping on US orders over $50.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we ship to Canada, the UK, the EU, and select international destinations via USPS International. International shipping costs are calculated at checkout. Customers are responsible for any duties or customs fees.

Returns & Exchanges

What is your return policy?

If your candle arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 14 days of delivery and we will send a replacement or issue a full refund at no cost. Because every candle is hand-poured to order, we do not accept returns for reasons other than damage on arrival.

Can I exchange a scent I don't love?

Reach out within 14 days. If the candle is mostly unused, we are happy to arrange an exchange for another scent of equal value — we want you to love what you light.

Ingredients

Where does your beeswax come from?

Our beeswax is sourced from certified organic apiaries in the US. Every candle is 100% organic beeswax — no paraffin, no soy blends, no palm. The wax is filtered naturally and bleached only by the sun.

What kind of fragrance do you use?

We use a blend of natural essential oils and clean, phthalate-free fragrance oils that meet IFRA safety standards. We never use synthetic fragrances containing phthalates or parabens. The exact blend of each scent is listed on its product page.

Burn Time

How long will my candle burn?

Burn time depends on vessel size: our 4 oz candles burn roughly 20–25 hours, 8 oz candles roughly 45–55 hours, and 12 oz candles roughly 70–80 hours. Specific burn windows are listed on each product page.

Why does my candle's burn time vary?

Beeswax is a natural material, so burn time can vary slightly with humidity, altitude, and how the candle is cared for. Wick length and first-burn depth also affect how long the candle lasts.

Wick Care & First Burn

How do I trim the wick?

Before each lighting, trim the wick to about ¼ inch (roughly 6 mm). Use a wick trimmer, scissors, or your fingertips. A long wick causes a larger, hotter flame that burns wax faster and can leave soot on the vessel.

What is 'first-burn memory' and why does it matter?

The first time you light a candle, let the wax melt all the way to the edges of the vessel before extinguishing — usually 2–3 hours depending on size. This sets the candle's "memory" and prevents tunneling on later burns.

Candle Care

How do I get the best burn from my candle?

Trim the wick to ¼ inch before every burn, let the wax pool to the edges on each lighting, and limit burns to 4 hours at a time to keep the vessel from overheating. Keep the candle away from drafts, walls, and flammable surfaces.

How should I store my candle?

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Beeswax is sensitive to heat and can discolor or warp if left in a hot car or sunlit window.
